Dr. Schulten completed his medical training at the Julius-Maximilian University in Würzburg, Germany, in 1995, obtaining his doctorate degree cum laude in 1996. After receiving his certification as a consultant urologist in 2000, he moved to his practice to Marbella, Spain, where he founded a private urology clinic specializing in prostate disorders and erectile dysfunction.

He is recognized as a pioneer in the application of fusion technology for prostate biopsy, and has extensive experience in the treatment of prostate tumors, using the innovative Nano Knife technology (Irreversible Electroporation Therapy).

Recently, he has developed additional interest in modern technologies and minimally invasive treatment strategies. These include prostate artery embolization (PAE) to treat benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), as well as endovascular balloon dilation and stenting of the pelvic arteries to address erectile dysfunction caused by narrowing of the prostate. pelvic vessels due to atherosclerosis.
