Russian models or representatives of high society from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, the United States, England, Germany, France, Hungary, Ireland, Morocco, the British colony of Gibraltar and, of course, Spain, put themselves in their hands to end a A problem as common as it is painful and annoying, deformities in the feet or the presence of elements, such as calluses, which make the people who are affected lose a lot of quality of life. "Here we give life," says Juan Luis Párraga with absolute conviction, a renowned podiatrist who has had his clinic in Ronda for twenty years, although he is from the town of Olvera in Cádiz.

Now, after beginnings in which his innovative technique of foot microsurgery, learned in New Orleans, caused fear among the specialists of that time, he has become one of the most recognized in Spain and located at the forefront of this specialty in Andalusia. Proof of this are the more than 3,000 interventions that he has carried out, in many cases, to solve almost impossible situations and that have not found a solution for years.

This recognition and the arrival of clients from almost every corner of Europe, does not cease to surprise this specialist, although he assures that he continues to work with the same humility as in his beginnings. He says he is proud to have been able to help many other patients who are outside of the elite of society. "Here everyone receives the same treatment and the same attention, you cannot dedicate yourself more to some than to others," he explains. Of course, the difference is sometimes clear abroad, when a luxury car arrives, including a driver, at the doors of his clinic to drop off a patient.

The shoes also do not distinguish between social classes and cause a good part of the foot problems. A complement in which women are the main victims, which is evident in the fact that 95% of the clients are female. Opening a foot without touching it by using a laser or performing an intervention without giving stitches are some of the keys to his professional success, to which he adds an absolute vocation and dedication to his profession.

He takes each of his interventions as a new challenge. "I can't wait to get my hands on these feet," he says while looking at a photograph that presents the image of toes that seem to have no solution. "Of course they have it, I already know exactly how and what I'm going to do," he says, convinced that he can give an answer to a problem that his patient has been suffering from for years. And it is that many of them have gone to his clinic as the last opportunity to find a remedy that no one has been able to give them so far. Of course, he also recognizes that it is not always possible to do so, although it is in the vast majority of cases.

In this way, Podoláser has positioned itself as one of the most prestigious clinics in Spain and unique in Andalusia in terms of the techniques and means it uses to restore naturalness to the feet of patients. Of course, investment in the latest technology also plays a prominent role, which meant an investment of 150,000 euros in 2012 in new surgical equipment, exploration or elimination of fungi.

A laser, floroscope, ultrasound, Epi or the new Ping Pointe equipment makes this podiatry clinic at the forefront of the techniques used in the sector, some of which are unique in Andalusia.
